Calling All Prenda John/Jane Does!

I’m putting out a call for any John/Jane Does who were part of any past/present Prenda cases (including Steele|Hanmeier, Media Copyright Group, Anti-Piracy Law Group, Duffy Law Group, etc.) to drop me an email if you would consider being interviewed about your experience by a member of the media.  This includes people who settled, ignored them, or fought back.

Not the John Doe I’m looking for, but still very cool

About DieTrollDie

I'm one of the many 'John Does' (200,000+ & growing in the US) who Copyright Trolls have threatened with a civil law suit unless they are paid off. What is a Copyright Troll? Check out the Electronic Frontier Foundation link - http://www.eff.org/issues/copyright-trolls

Forgot one firm name – THE STEELE LAW FIRM. These would have been some of the earliest cases filed.

what happens if you just simply ignore?

      Ignore me? Nothing. 🙂

If you ignore the ISP notice or Troll letter? Depends on what the Troll wants to do. I do not suggest ignoring these cases, as it can come back to haunt you – possible default judge. I would at least keep an eye on the case in PACER and see if you can get a free consult from an attorney who knows these cases. Each case, troll, Plaintiff, and court is different, so it is hard to give a simple easy answer.

      DTD 🙂
